Welcome back to another episode of True Wealth Conversations! I’m excited to share today’s episode with you. I recently turned 38 and spent my birthday in one of my favorite places – Costa Rica. While I was there I did some journaling about the things I’ve learned over my last 38 years and I wanted to share 5 of those with you today.

  1. Stop worrying about what other people think.

I feel like so many of us don’t reach for goals or start the businesses or do the things we want to do because we are so concerned about what other people think. Imagine if you just did that thing that’s been on your heart and you stopped worrying about what other people think.

2. Faith and fear cannot reside in the same heart.

This is so important. When you trust God and allow God to lead your life, you can’t let fear come in. Imagine if you actually started to lean on God completely and didn’t let fear your life, but you let faith run your life and put all of your faith into God.

3. “If you believe you can, or if you believe you can’t, you’re right.”

This is so true. A lot of times we talk ourselves out of achieving the things we want to achieve.

4. Never stop learning.

I am a lifelong learner. It’s important to keep learning throughout life.

5. Practice self-care.

It’s so important to take care of yourself because like the saying says “You can’t pour from an empty cup.” When you fill your own cup up, you can help so many others. I challenge you to take time for yourself.

Those were 5 of the lessons I’ve learned in my last 38 years. I hope you found this episode helpful. If so, share it with a friend. Connect with me on Instagram @dominiquebroadway
